Putting my art out there

I have news! A wonderful local community art hub - City Arts Newbury, accepted 4 pieces of my art to exhibit in their Easter exhibition themed “Chroma”. 

I wouldn’t say my art is particularly colourful so I did dither a bit about what art to submit and it ended up being some of my older work.  It spurred me on to apply for an artist accreditation at the Open Studio for West Berkshire and Hampshire, which showcases around 300 artists over a range of disciplines, and I’m delighted to say they’ve accepted me! They hold some major exhibitions so watch this space…

We are going to visit the City Art hub over Easter, for coffee and cake in the cafe and a wander around all the lovely art displayed.  Wishing you all a lovely Easter break, and if you have time off to spend doing something you love, enjoy!
